BCYA 2011 Fall Series Race Dates & Results
The BCYA Fall Series is a pursuit race format. There will generally not be a committee boat, so starting and finishing are on an honor system.
The pursuit format lends itself very well to beginning racers who want to try some competetive sailing without the tension of a fleet start.
THIS IS THE PERFECT OPPORTUNITY FOR A SAILBOAT OWNER WHO HAS LITTLE OR NO RACING EXPERIENCE TO GIVE IT A TRY!
(Even if you don't particularly like racing, it's a great excuse to take your boat out and go sailing!)
Club officers will be happy to answer any questions from new sailors about these races!
